Music Monday: Sam Bush and Emmylou Harris, The River’s Gonna Run

My music teacher turned me on to Sam Bush last year. Holy cow, he’s awesome.  He’s going to be at the Blue Grass Chili Festival in Claremore Oklahoma on September 7, 2013. You do not want to miss this.

Music Monday: Angela Primm, Said I wasn’t Gonna Tell Nobody

I told you guys a little bit about Angela in one of my posts last week about Mark Lowry and The Gaithers. I wanted you to see for yourself how much wonderful energy this woman brings to the stage. She had me on my feet. She’s so endearing and so energetic that it can’t help but rub off on you.

Music Monday: After Midnight, JJ Cale

I still cannot believe JJ is gone. I had a hard time figuring out which song or video I wanted to post for you guys. I mean the man was a brilliant musician. I thought about posting Mama Don’t and then I came across this. It’s just simply JJ well, him and Leon Russell and I figured what better. The fact that he is playing guitar with a lit cigarette totally cracked me up. Hope you like it.
