Okay, I’m chuckling about this one tonight, Deana! “Don’t believe everything you think!” 🙂
Reminds me of the misconceptions (Or as some people call it TWISTED THINKING) we can believe to keep us miserable. Have you ever read these 2 books by William Backus? Telling Yourself the Truth and Telling Each Other the Truth
They have really helped me through the years, in discovering my misconceptions and replacing them with the truth.

I do have those book Joan and it’s been a while. I’ll have to dig them back out. Our twisted thinking can become self fulfilling prophesies if we are not careful.
I can be my own worst enemy at times. Replacing old tapes takes time, patience, and care. And old tapes have a way of resurfcing from time to time and I have to be very diligent and nipping those in the bud.
